The Most Hated Man in the World (of Pro Wrestling)

For some reason, my post didn’t post and I’m not rewriting the damn thing.

Long story short: John Cena is the most popular wrestler in the WWE right now (and has been for years). He’s also the most hated (and has been for years). Women and kids love him, adult males hate him. He is accused of being the same boring character for years (not necessarily wrong). People on Internet wrestling forums (fora?) think he’d be interesting if he turned into a villain. I argue that he doesn’t need to. Heels (wrestling villains) exist to make the audiences hate them and not to give a damn that they do. John Cena does both of those things every week. He doesn’t need to turn heel because half the audience (i.e. the one whose testicles have dropped) already hates him. For all intents and purposes, he’s already a heel.
